Hear It From the Founder

A Message From Veronica

Prescribers hand women a powerful medication and almost no guidance. I built VFactor Health to fill that gap — to help women keep their muscle, manage side effects, and build habits that outlast the drug. I'm looking for coaches who want to do that work the right way.

The Opportunity

The Coaching Gap Modern Medicine Left Wide Open

Millions of women are now on GLP-1 medications — Ozempic, Wegovy, Mounjaro, Zepbound. The medication works on appetite. But it doesn't teach anyone how to protect their muscle, eat enough of the right nutrients at a fraction of the appetite, manage the nausea and fatigue, or eventually come off the drug without regaining everything. Prescribers don't have time for that. Generic fitness coaches don't have the clinical literacy for it.

VFactor Health was built by a Registered Dietitian and Physician Assistant to do exactly that — and we deliver it as structured, evidence-based health coaching. We serve women who are on GLP-1s and want better results, and women who can't or won't take them but want the same outcomes. As a coach here, you're not competing with doctors. You're the part of the journey they were never set up to provide.

Clinical method, coaching delivery Specialized in GLP-1 & metabolic health Mission: help clients become independent of the drug Audience: educated women 45–65

The Role

You'll Be the Reason Our Clients Keep the Results

You'll coach your own roster of clients through our 12-week VFactor Core Program — a mix of scheduled one-on-one Zoom sessions and ongoing asynchronous support. You'll work under the clinical framework Veronica developed and be trained in the proprietary VFactor methodology. Here's what the work actually looks like.

01

Coach your own roster of clients

Deliver individualized nutrition and lifestyle coaching following the VFactor Framework, guiding each client through the 12-week Core Program.

02

Run 1:1 sessions & weekly check-ins

Lead weekly or biweekly one-on-one Zoom sessions, plus ongoing support between sessions through messaging, voice memos, and weekly check-ins.

03

Coach clinical nutrition habits

Help clients optimize protein, manage macronutrients, and close nutritional gaps — especially those common with reduced appetite on GLP-1s. Education and coaching, not prescription.

04

Protect muscle mass

Guide resistance-training and protein-timing protocols so clients lose fat — not the muscle that keeps them strong and metabolically healthy.

05

Help manage GLP-1 side effects

Share evidence-based strategies for nausea, fatigue, and GI distress, and educate clients on how the medication works at each stage and dose.

06

Support medication tapering

Help clients build the behavior change and confidence to reduce GLP-1 dependence over time — when appropriate, and alongside their prescriber.

07

Monitor progress & flag concerns

Track each client's progress, adjust plans as needed, and escalate clinical concerns to the lead coach.

08

Collaborate & document

Join group coaching and team case discussions, contribute feedback on the program and materials, and keep accurate client records and communication logs.

Experience is what matters most here.

A demonstrated track record of helping women get lasting results beats a stack of certifications — that's the bar. That said, if you also bring a clinical background (RD/RDN, RN, NP, PA) and real GLP-1 familiarity, you go straight to the top of the pile.

What We're Looking For

The Coach We're Trying to Find

We'd rather be specific and lose the wrong applicants than be vague and waste your time. Experience comes first — here's the bar.

Must Have

Non-negotiables
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience coaching women in nutrition, weight management, or metabolic health Required
  • A deep command of macronutrient-based nutrition coaching — and how to tailor plans to each client's needs, preferences, and medical considerations
  • Experience coaching women 40–65 through perimenopause, menopause, and hormonal change
  • Strong knowledge of resistance training & muscle preservation during weight loss
  • The ability to make complex nutrition science clear and empowering — grounded in evidence, never fear or hype
  • High emotional intelligence and empathy — our clients often arrive frustrated, skeptical, and vulnerable
  • Self-motivated and reliable as a remote contractor — responsive and consistent across video and async check-ins

Strongly Preferred

Moves you up the list
  • Familiarity with GLP-1 medications (semaglutide, tirzepatide) — mechanisms, side effects, and how nutrition and behavior interact with them
  • Credentials such as RD, RDN, NASM, ACE, ISSA, Precision Nutrition (PN1/PN2), or equivalent
  • Experience in a high-ticket coaching program where client experience and retention are paramount
  • A background in clinical nutrition, dietetics, or allied health

And the human we're really after

Evidence-driven, not hype-driven Deeply empathetic Self-managed & reliable Calm under a client's frustration Always learning Believes behavior beats willpower Genuinely roots for women who've felt like failures

Be Honest With Yourself

This Seat Is Not For Everyone

If more than one of these sounds like you, we're probably not the right fit — and that's okay.

You think the job is handing out meal plans and templates.

You judge or shame clients for using a GLP-1 medication.

You lead with motivational fluff instead of mechanisms and evidence.

You struggle to hold people accountable when it gets uncomfortable.

You need constant hand-holding to manage your own schedule.

You want to blur the line into diagnosing or prescribing — we coach, we don't treat.

Good Questions

Before You Apply

Do I need to be a Registered Dietitian or have a specific certification? +
No. What matters most is a demonstrated track record — 3+ years coaching women in nutrition, weight management, or metabolic health. Credentials like RD/RDN, NASM, ACE, ISSA, or Precision Nutrition, and a clinical background, are a real plus and move you up the list — but experience and results come first.
Will I be prescribing or giving medical advice? +
No. VFactor Health is delivered as health coaching — education, support, and evidence-based strategy. You won't diagnose, treat, or prescribe. You'll coach clients on nutrition, habits, and lifestyle, and coordinate with their own prescribers where appropriate.
Do I need prior experience with GLP-1 medications? +
It's strongly preferred and moves you up the list, but it's not an absolute requirement if your nutrition, behavior-change, and metabolic-health foundation is strong. We'll train you deeply on the GLP-1-specific side of our method.
How many clients will I coach? +
There's no arbitrary cap. We build deep, high-touch coaching relationships rather than chasing volume — but if you have the capacity and want to take on more clients and grow your income, there's real room to do that. Your earning potential grows with your client base.
How do scheduling and earnings work? +
This is a fully remote role with a flexible schedule — you have a real say in your hours. Your earning potential grows with your client base, so there's meaningful upside as you deliver results and retain clients. We'll walk through the full structure with you during the process.
Where can I coach from? +
Anywhere in the U.S. The role is 100% remote — all coaching happens over video and async messaging.
